The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) is a screening tool for mild cognitive impairment developed by Dr. Ziad Nasreddine in Montreal, Canada. It is a 30 point-test that can generally be conducted in about 10 minutes.

It assesses visuospatial/executive functioning, naming, memory, attention, language, abstraction, delayed recall, and orientation.
