Performing the Test

  1. Percuss the patient's wrist at the radioulnar articulation where anatomic carpal tunnel is located
  2. Positive test: Reproduction of symptoms in median nerve distribution
  3. Sensitivity: 60%, Specificity: 67%
  4. LR+ =1.8, LR- = 0.6
