Assesses for pain originating at SI joint
Performing the Test
Patient lying supine
Examiner crosses the patients arms and applies force to bilateral ASIS's. The examiner pushes the iliac crests away from each other and towards the examination table
Examiner holds this pressure for 30 secs then applies repeated force
Sensitivity: 60%, Specificity: 81%
LR+ = 3.2, LR- =0.5
