Rapid Alternating Movement
This test is used to check for cerebellar disease.
Performing the Test
Upper limbs: ask patient to pronate and supinate their hand against their thigh as quickly as they can
Lower limbs: ask patient to tap your hand as quickly as possible with the ball of each foot
Dysdiadochokinesis: lack of coordination during these movementsrapid
