Biceps Load I Test
The biceps load I test is used to assess for the integrity of the superior glenoid labrum.
Performing the Test
Patient is positioned supine, arm passively abducted to 90°, elbow flexed to 90°, with forearm in supination
Patient is then asked to flex elbow against examiner resistance
The test is considered positive if this elicits pain
Sensitivity: ≥83%; specificity: ≥90%
